Republic Bank shares continue to rise

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 14 securities of which three advanced, seven declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 214,098 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,990,276.16.

 

The Composite Index declined by 2.46 points, or by 0.23 per cent, to close at 1,065.73, while the All T&T Index declined by 0.36 points, or by 0.02 per cent, to close at 1,657.00. The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.54 points, or 0.88 per cent, to close at 60.86. Angostura Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 71,811 shares changing hands for a value of $646,309.65.

 

Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.18 to end the day at $104.96. Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.53 to close at $7.50. The mutual fund and second tier markets did not record any activity.
