Unilever jumps up by $1.81

Overall market activity resulted from trading in seven securities of which two advanced, three declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 194,430 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $9,384,682.74. Scotiabank T&T was the volume leader with 102,481 shares changing hands for a value of $6,466,551.10, followed by Guardian Holdings Ltd with a volume of 59,133 shares being traded for $1,093,949.87. Sagicor Financial Corp contributed 15,839 shares with a value of $118,792.50, while Republic Bank Ltd added 15,755 shares valued at $1,659,159.05.

 
 
Unilever Caribbean Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $1.81 to end the day at $46, while Republic Bank continued its climb, adding $0.35 to close at $105.31. Conversely, Guardian Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.30 to close at $18.50. Savinvest India Asia Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 1,464 shares valued at $84,838.80. SAVINVEST declined by $0.05 to end at $57.95. The second tier market did not witness any activity.
