The Com­pos­ite In­dex ad­vanced by 0.89 points, or by 0.08 per cent, to close at 1,070.97, while the All T&T In­dex ad­vanced by 3.43 points,or by 0.21 per cent, to close at 1,670.34.

The Cross List­ed In­dex de­clined by 0.19 points, or 0.31 per cent, to close at 60.55. Guardian Hold­ings Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 82,435 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $1,490,496.00, fol­lowed by Ja­maica Mon­ey Mar­ket Bro­kers with a vol­ume of 27,128 shares be­ing trad­ed for $16,680.64. GraceKennedy Ltd con­tributed 24,000 shares with a val­ue of $92,400.00, while Sco­tia In­vest­ments Ja­maica added 22,708 shares val­ued at $54,045.04.

ANSA McAL Ltd en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.93 to end the day at $65.00. Al­so climb­ing yes­ter­day was Re­pub­lic Bank which added $0.21 to end trad­ing at $106.02. Con­verse­ly, Guardian Hold­ings Ltd suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.22 to close at $18.08. Prae­to­ri­an Prop­er­ty Mu­tu­al Fund was the on­ly ac­tive se­cu­ri­ty on the mu­tu­al fund mar­ket, post­ing a vol­ume of 9,436 shares val­ued at $35,856.80.
