Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 51,604 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $920,566.72. The Composite Index advanced by 0.78 points, or by 0.07 per cent, to close at 1,072.04, while the All T&T Index advanced by 1.60 points, or by 0.10 per cent, to close at 1,674.34.
The Cross Listed Index remained at 60.34.
Trinidad Cement Ltd was the volume leader with 32,600 shares changing hands for a value of $62,992.00, followed by Neal & Massy Holdings with a volume of 11,764 shares being traded for $567,613.00. Sagicor Financial Corporation contributed 2,754 shares with a value of $20,379.60, while ANSA McAL Ltd added 1,544 shares valued at $100,390.88. Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.59 to end the day at $107.37.
Conversely, Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.05 to close at $4.20.
The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.10. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $57.95. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
