Ja­maica Mon­ey Mar­ket Bro­kers was the vol­ume leader with 187,959 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $102,736.27, fol­lowed by Na­tion­al Com­mer­cial Bank Ja­maica with a vol­ume of 100,000 shares be­ing trad­ed for $162,000. Agos­ti­ni's Ltd en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.88 to end the day at $16.25. Re­pub­lic Bank Ltd jumped by $0.70 to breach the $108 mark as it closed at $108.07. Guardian Hold­ings al­so ad­vanced, mov­ing ahead by $0.37 to close at $18.37.

Con­verse­ly, One Caribbean Me­dia suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.10 to close at $15.75. Prae­to­ri­an Prop­er­ty Mu­tu­al Fund was the on­ly ac­tive se­cu­ri­ty on the Mu­tu­al Fund Mar­ket, post­ing a vol­ume of 5,000 shares val­ued at $21,000 and ad­vanc­ing by $0.10 to end at $4.20. The sec­ond tier mar­ket did not wit­ness any ac­tiv­i­ty.
