Republic shares now at $109.74

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in nine securities of which five advanced, none declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 186,953 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,680,227.97. 
 
The Composite Index advanced by 0.69 points, or by 0.06 per cent, to close at 1,077.01, while the All T&T Index advanced by 1.13 points, or by 0.07 per cent, to close at 1,684.29. The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.03 points, or 0.05 per cent, to close at 60.37. 
 
Sagicor Financial Corporation was the volume leader with 101,692 shares changing hands for a value of $756,981.94, followed by Guardian Holdings Ltd with a volume of 49,090 shares being traded for $906,101.50. National Enterprises Ltd contributed 16,260 shares with a value of $252,030.00, while Angostura Holdings Ltd added 8,662 shares valued at $77,958.00.
 
Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.25 to end the day at $109.74. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund  remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.20. Savinvest India Asia Fund  remained at $57.95. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company  (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $15.65.
