Overall market activity resulted from trading in nine securities, of which five advanced, two declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier Market registered a volume of 70,370 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $3,036,815.25. 
 
The Composite Index advanced by 0.92 points, or by 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,078.78, while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.11 points, or by 0.01 per cent, to close at 1,686.22. The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.21 points, or 0.35 per cent, to close at 60.57.
 
Scotiabank T&T Ltd was the volume leader with 16,406 shares changing hands for a value of $1,033,677.18, followed by Angostura Holdings Ltd with a volume of 16,000 shares being traded for $144,160. Republic Bank Ltd contributed 13,759 shares with a value of $1,510,050.25, while Guardian Holdings Ltd added 11,000 shares valued at $206,250.
 
GraceKennedy Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.21 to end the day at $4. Conversely, Republic Bank Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $109.75. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.
 
Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.20. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $57.95. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company Ltd (suspended) remained at $1. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $15.65.
