ANSA McAL climbs by $0.12

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities of which one advanced, three declined and seven traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 182,527 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,090,160.35.

 

 The Composite Index declined by 2.14 points, or by 0.20 per cent, to close at 1,076.24. The All T&T Index declined by 3.21 pointsor by 0.19 per cent, to close at 1,682.93. The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.13 points, or by 0.21 per cent, to close at 60.35.

 

GraceKennedy Ltd as the volume leader with 100,000 shares changing hands for a value of $378,904.38, followed by Sagicor Financial Corp with a volume of 45,908 shares being traded for $342,014.60. Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 13,977 shares with a value of $252,126.50, while ANSA McAL Ltd added 13,846 shares valued at $902,066.90. ANSA McAL Ltd enjoyed the day's sole price increase, climbing $0.12 to end the day at $65.15.
