Overall market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which one advanced, two declined and five traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 199,342 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $19,699,655.34.
The Composite Index declined by 0.05 points (0.00 per cent) to close at 1,080.72, while the All T&T Index declined by 0.10 points (0.01 per cent) to close at 1,689.82. The Cross Listed Index remained at 60.61. Republic Bank Ltd was the volume leader with 169,040 shares changing hands for a value of $18,548,557.48, followed by ANSA McAL Ltd with a volume of 12,859 shares being traded for $837,892.84.
Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 7,150 shares with a value of $128,700.00, while Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation added 4,797 shares valued at $19,667.70.
One Caribbean Media enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.04 to end the day at $15.12. Conversely, Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporationsuffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.10 to close at $4.10. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.20. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $58.00.
The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (suspended) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
