Scotia Investments Jamaica Ltd was the volume leader with 104,000 shares changing hands for a value of $239,200.00, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd with a volume of 98,822 shares being traded for $138,418.80.
Sagicor Financial Corporation contributed 39,658 shares with a value of $289,066.40, while Guardian Holdings Ltd added 13,200 shares valued at $244,200.00. ANSA McAL Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.50 to end the day at $67.00. Conversely, National Enterprises Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $14.69.
Clico investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 311,530 shares valued at $6,328,326.90. Clico Investment Fund advanced by $0.06 to end at $20.31. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.60. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity.
