Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 129,300 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $273,248.56. Trinidad Cement Ltd was the volume leader with 106,700 shares changing hands for a value of $151,611.56, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd with a volume of 20,000 shares being traded for $28,000.00. ANSA McAL Ltd contributed 1,000 shares with a value of $67,000.00, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 700 shares valued at $5,110.00.
Clico Investment Fund enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $1.04 to end the day at $21.35. Conversely, Trinidad Cement Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.07 to end the day at $1.42.
