ANSA McAL falls $0.49

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities, of which six advanced, three declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 1,028,243 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $16,834,202.60.

 

One Caribbean Media Ltd was the volume leader with 947,250 shares changing hands for a value of $15,156,000.00, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd with a volume of 22,514 shares being traded for $31,519.60. Trinidad Cement Ltd contributed 21,395 shares with a value of $29,953.00, while Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd added 20,540 shares valued at $1,026,584.20.

 

Clico Investment Fun enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $1.65 to end the day at $23.00. Conversely, ANSA McAL Ltd suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.49 to close at $66.51. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 35,588 shares valued at $818,427.42. Clico Investment Fund advanced by $1.65 to end at $23.00.
