The international accolades bestowed on local financial services group First Citizens are linked to its commitment to customers in every community across T&T, says Robin Lewis, general manager, retail and commercial banking. He was delivering the feature address on behalf of the company's chief executive officer Larry Nath, at the branch's 30th anniversary celebration on Thursday.
Lewis said the Sangre Grande branch had played an integral role in contributing to the achievements of the First Citizens Group, having copped the award for Branch of the Year back in 2002.
"With the solid contribution from this branch, the First Citizens Group has emerged as a dynamic financial institution, continuously obtaining international accolades and national recognition for success. Last year, we were named Bank of the Year 2012 by the renowned Banker Magazine. This is the third time we were awarded this title; since the first in 2005, followed by the historic three Bank of the Year awards in 2009," he said
Lewis said with a combination of consistent profitability, a commitment to service excellence, innovativeness and sound corporate governance, customers could remain confident that they made the right choice in First Citizens.
