Dirk Xavier, managing director, Essentia Ltd., centre, accepts the First Alert Professional Circle of Excellence Award from Gabriel Sabogal, left, regional manager, Honeywell First Alert Professional, and Gavy Barrett, international sales & division leader, Honeywell Security.

Local security firm Essentia Ltd won the prestigious Circle of Excellence Award at a function hosted in Florida by the First Alert Professional Programme, a Honeywell-authorised dealer programme for more than 500 First Alert dealers from the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Awards were handed out to dealers who consistently demonstrated excellence in the use and application of First Alert’s suite of products. The event brought together industry leaders from around the world to review new products, debate and share best practices, and discuss the future of the industry.

The award won by Essentia recognises the First Alert Professional authorized dealer who demonstrated a company-wide commitment to utilizing and marketing First Alert Professional products and programmes innovatively to the benefit of their clients, and a willingness to share best practices with their peers.

Essentia is one of T&T’s foremost full-service security firms embracing the security technology of tomorrow. With an internationally trained team of more than 100 security professionals in all key areas of electronic and manned security, Essentia provides a suite of services which includes electronic security services, monitoring services and manned services.

This award continues an enduring trend by Essentia Ltd for garnering the industry’s highest awards. In 2011, the company won two awards at this same event. Essentia’s managing director Dirk Xavier said: “As a company fully committed to raising the bar for excellence in the provision of every aspect of security services, it is imperative that we maintain the highest standards of delivery at every client touch-point.

By focusing on maximising the products, training expertise and value from our authorised dealer relationships with world-acclaimed brands, such as Honeywell and First Alert, to name a few, we remain on course for growing our business prudently with a focus on meeting current and future client needs.”

Xavier, who currently sits on the President’s Council for Honeywell and represents the Caribbean dealers, added: “This award is testament to the professionalism and commitment of our entire team and serves to re-energise us as we continue to grow our business by focusing on what matters most: our clients.”
