GraceKennedy climbs $0.40

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities, of which five advanced, two declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 348,729 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $3,630,269.40.

 

GraceKennedy Ltd was the volume leader with 150,000 shares changing hands for a value of $600,000, followed by Guardian Holdings Ltd with a volume of 113,370 shares being traded for $2,097,302.50. Sagicor Financial Corporation contributed 50,636 shares with a value of $359,191.65, while One Caribbean Media Ltd added 28,238 shares valued at $458,875.55.

 

GraceKennedy Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.40 to end the day at $4. Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.01 to close at $7.09. On the Mutual Fund Market 243,335 shares changed hands for a value of $4,818,994.20.
