Republic Bank falls $0.43

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities, of which three advanced, three declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 403,111 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $3,685,640.69.

 

Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 119,680 shares changing hands for a value of $77,881.64, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 91,875 shares being traded for $128,625. Prestige Holdings Ltd contributed 89,335 shares with a value of $826,348.75, while Agostini’s Ltd added 28,500 shares valued at $473,100.

 

Prestige Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.09 to end the day at $9.25. Conversely, Republic Bank Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.43 to close at $105.58. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 15,000 shares valued at $318,750.

 

Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.03 to end at $21.25. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company Ltd (suspended) remained at $1. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $15.65.
