Guardian Holdings jumps $0.41

Overall market activity resulted from trading in seven securities, of which one advanced, two declined and four traded firm.

 

Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 135,263 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $1,306,225.20. Guardian Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 55,742 shares changing hands for a value of $1,054,827, followed by Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd with a volume of 53,891 shares being traded for $35,029.15. Angostura Holdings Ltd contributed 20,000 shares with a value of $179,600, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 5,055 shares valued at $35,941.05.

 

Guardian Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day's sole price increase, climbing $0.41 to end the day at $18.92. Conversely, Clico Investment Fund suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.01 to close at $21.25. On the Mutual Fund Market 31,706 shares changed hands for a value of $642,271.25. 

 

Clico Investment Fund was the most active security, with a volume of 29,881 shares valued at $634,971.25. Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.01 to end at $21.25. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.
