One Caribbean Media Ltd falls $1.13

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 18 securities of which four advanced, six declined and eight traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 51,195 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $419,142.72. GraceKennedy Limited was the volume leader with 23,000 shares changing hands for a value of $91,540, followed by Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited with a volume of 10,000 shares being traded for $6,448.72. Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited contributed 4,780 shares with a value of $9,560, while Angostura Holdings Limited added 2,678 shares valued at $24,075.22.

 

Neal and Massy Holdings Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.82 to end the day at $54.63. Conversely, One Caribbean Media Limited suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $1.13 to close at $15.12. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 55,550 shares valued at $1,138,675. Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.21 to end at $20.50. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity.
