Angostura drops $0.49
Overall market activity resulted from trading in ten securities of which five advanced, one declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 302,685 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $11,583,140.51. The Composite Index advanced by 0.82 points, on 0.08 per cent to close at 1,080.86, while the All T&T Index advanced by 1.60 points, or by 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,720.38. The Cross Listed Index remained at 57.07.
Neal & Massy Holdings was the volume leader with 188,090 shares changing hands for a value of $10,290,932.14, followed by Guardian Holdings Ltd with a volume of 54,135 shares being traded for $1,047,446.00. National Flour Mills contributed 35,556 shares with a value of $21,603.97, while Angostura Holdings Ltd added 20,000 shares valued at $170,000.00.
One Caribbean Media Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $1.13 to end the day at $16.25. Conversely, Angostura Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.49 to end the day at $8.50. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 480 shares valued at $9,840.00. Clico Investment Fund remained at $20.50. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.00.
The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
