Guardian Holdings Limited climbs $0.22

Overall market activity resulted from trading in six securities of which one advanced, two declined and three traded firm. 

 

 

Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 130,614 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,510,850.24. Guardian Holdings Limited was the volume leader with 50,613 shares changing hands for a value of $1,010,564.44, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 44,337 shares being traded for $319,226.40. Trinidad Cement Limited contributed 24,000 shares with a value of $32,987.00, while Agostini’s Limited added 6,664 shares valued at $110,622.40.

 

Guardian Holdings Limited enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.22 to end the day at $19.97. Conversely, Clico Investment Fund suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.09 to close at $20.41.

 

 

Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 69,165 shares valued at $1,411,862.50. Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.09 to end at $20.41. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity.
