Republic leads day with $1.61 gain

Overall market activity resulted from trading in seven securities of which five advanced, 0 declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 120,417 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,247,047.38.
Sagicor Financial Corporation was the volume leader with 60,016 shares changing hands at a value of $432,115.20, followed by Trinidad Cement Limited with a volume of 33,545 shares being traded for $46,761.65.
National Enterprises Limited contributed 20,841 shares with a value of $306,987.93, while Neal and Massy Holdings Limited added 3,162 shares valued at $175,158.60. Republic Bank Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $1.61 to end the day at $107.61.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 35,719 shares valued at $732,175.80. Clico Investment Fund remained at $20.50. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.00.
