Scotiabank gains $0.56

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities of which four advanced, three declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 119,542 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,562,299.45. Guardian Holdings Limited was the volume leader with 73,100 shares changing hands for a value of $1,456,930.00, followed by National Flour Mills Limited with a volume of 25,600 shares being traded for $15,360.00.

 

 

Republic Bank Limited contributed 5,474 shares with a value of $591,192.00, while Trinidad Cement Limited added 4,000 shares valued at $5,600.00.

 

Scotiabank T&T Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.56 to end the day at $66.21. Conversely, Clico Investment Fund suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.18 to close at $20.32. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 149,300 shares valued at $3,033,652.20. Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.18 to end at $20.32.
