Overall market activity resulted from trading in ten securities of which three advanced, five declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 50,882 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,296,431.44. National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited was the volume leader with 22,178 shares changing hands for a value of $28,731.40, followed by First Caribbean International Bank Limited with a volume of 10,000 shares being traded for $74,900.00.
Republic Bank Limited contributed 9,452 shares with a value of $1,020,940.44, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 5,201 shares valued at $37,187.15. Neal & Massy Holdings Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.11 to end the day at $55.50. Conversely, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.08 to close at $1.30.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 107,765 shares valued at $2,187,629.50. Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.02 to end at $20.30. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $4.00.
The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Co Ltd (Suspended) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $15.65.
