NEL ends day at $14.77

Overall market activity resulted from trading in nine securities of which one advanced, two declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 184,230 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,534,768.29. Agostini’s Limited was the volume leader with 60,000 shares changing hands for a value of $996,000.00, followed by Guardian Holdings Limited with a volume of 55,284 shares being traded for $1,099,975.41. 

 

Sagicor Financial Corporation contributed 47,326 shares with a value of $331,362.00, while National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited added 20,000 shares valued at $25,950.00.
National Enterprises Limited enjoyed the day's sole price increase, climbing $0.04 to end the day at $14.77. 

 

Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.15 to close at $7.00. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 39,000 shares valued at $791,700.00.
