MIAMI–Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) successfully held its annual Kick-Off with exclusive distributors from Xerox Distributor Group (XDG). Representatives from Central America, the Caribbean, Bermuda and seven countries from South America, of which Venezuela and Colombia stand out as large markets, attended the meeting that was held from January 16 to 18 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
As part of the Kick-Off, Xerox awarded the best distributors of 2012. The winners received recognition and awards for their performance during the year in different categories and for outstanding business achievements that drove Xerox's direction and strategy in the region.
The main award went to TSL Group, the T&T distributor, which obtained the Distributor of the Year Award for its operational excellence, its organizational structure, its investment in the business and its participation in trainings and workshops, among other aspects that were evaluated by Xerox.
An important award, known as Unleash the Potential, went to PBS–Productive Business Solutions–Xerox's distributor in several Caribbean countries and throughout Central America. The award was given for the development, implementation and execution of several initiatives that helped raise its performance to the top.
In addition, awards were given to the distributors who stood out in the different business lines: Office, Graphic Communications and Supplies. There were also special awards for the distributor with the best Customer Service, the best one in Paper Sales, and the use of Software Solutions.
Fernando Garc�a Cant�n, General Manager, XDG, participated in the Kick-Off and pointed out: "The ongoing strengthening of our regional business network is vital for Xerox so that our end users and clients may access our products and services, thus being able to operate with greater ease and efficiency and focus on their businesses.
