Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities of which four advanced, four declined and five traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 275,188 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $12,894,408.09. Neal & Nassy Holdings Limited was the volume leader with 130,137 shares changing hands for a value of $7,808,344.14, followed by Scotiabank T&T Limited with a volume of 57,232 shares being traded for $3,805,928.00.

 

 

Trinidad Cement Limited contributed 33,671 shares with a value of $46,129.27, while Guardian Holdings Limited added 21,800 shares valued at $430,550.00. The West Indian Tobacco Company Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $1.83 to end the day at $90.01. Conversely, Guardian Holdings Limited suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.15 to close at $19.75. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 47,404 shares valued at $974,260.90. Clico Investment Fund advanced by $0.05 to end at $20.55.
