Overall market activity resulted from trading in ten securities of which five advanced, three declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 137,480 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,303,652.63.

 

 

GraceKennedy Limited was the volume leader with 50,000 shares changing hands for a value of $187,432.16, followed by National Flour Mills Limited with a volume of 41,083 shares being traded for $25,060.63. Neal & Massy Holdings Limited contributed 23,000 shares with a value of $1,403,000.00, while Guardian Holdings Limited added 9,713 shares valued at $191,346.10.

 

Neal & Massy Holdings Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.99 to end the day at $61.00. Conversely, Clico Investment Fund suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $1.22 to close at $21.65. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 22,305 shares valued at $482,888.69.
