A T&T del­e­ga­tion is cur­rent­ly at­tend­ing the In­ter­na­tion­al Tourism Bourse (ITB), a lead­ing busi­ness to busi­ness plat­form for trav­el and tourism in Berlin, Ger­many.The del­e­ga­tion is be­ing led by Tourism Min­is­ter Stephen Cadiz and in­cludes T&T's High Com­mis­sion­er to Lon­don Garvin Nicholas, Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary in the Min­istry of Tourism Ju­liana Boodram, Sec­re­tary for Trans­porta­tion and Tourism in the To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly Tra­cy David­son-Ce­les­tine and lo­cal sport­ing leg­end and tourism am­bas­sadors, Bri­an Lara and Dwight Yorke.

The del­e­ga­tion has met with of­fi­cials of British Air­ways, as Trav­el Zoo, a glob­al in­ter­net me­dia com­pa­ny and trust­ed pub­lish­er of trav­el, en­ter­tain­ment and deals and Me­dia Frank­furt, which man­ages mar­ket­ing of all ad­ver­tis­ing at Frank­furt Air­port.

Cadiz par­tic­i­pat­ed in a pre­sen­ta­tion on"Sus­tain­able Tourism De­vel­op­ment Caribbean Style-Be­cause there is no Plan­et B in which he fo­cused the con­ser­va­tion ef­forts in T&T as it re­lates to tur­tle con­ser­va­tion and pub­lic pri­vate sec­tor part­ner­ships.A press con­fer­ence was al­so hold to pro­mote the des­ti­na­tion to a packed meet­ing room of over 30 in­ter­na­tion­al me­dia.
