T&T tourism on show at Berlin expo
A T&T delegation is currently attending the International Tourism Bourse (ITB), a leading business to business platform for travel and tourism in Berlin, Germany. The delegation is being led by Tourism Minister Stephen Cadiz and includes T&T’s High Commissioner to London Garvin Nicholas, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Juliana Boodram, Secretary for Transportation and Tourism in the Tobago House of Assembly Tracy Davidson-Celestine and local sporting legend and tourism ambassadors, Brian Lara and Dwight Yorke.
The delegation has met with officials of British Airways, as Travel Zoo, a global internet media company and trusted publisher of travel, entertainment and deals and Media Frankfurt, which manages marketing of all advertising at Frankfurt Airport.
Cadiz participated in a presentation on“Sustainable Tourism Development Caribbean Style-Because there is no Planet B in which he focused the conservation efforts in T&T as it relates to turtle conservation and public private sector partnerships. A press conference was also hold to promote the destination to a packed meeting room of over 30 international media.
