Overall market activity resulted from trading in ten securities of which four advanced, three declined and three traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 171,846 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,355,927.07.
Trinidad Cement Limited was the volume leader with 83,929 shares changing hands for a value of $115,910.73, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 40,786 shares being traded for $254,912.50. Guardian Holdings Limited contributed 21,400 shares with a value of $417,534.00, while Neal & Massy Holdings Limited added 15,399 shares valued at $946,730.52.
Unilever Caribbean Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.27 to end the day at $50.02. Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.05 to close at $6.25. The Mutual Fund Market did not record any activity. Clico Investment Fund remained at $21.
