Minister of Energy receives courtesy call from EOG Resources Inc
Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs Kevin C Ramnarine yesterday met with senior representatives of EOG Resources including Mark G Papa, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of EOG Resources Inc Papa was recently named one of the world’s top 100 CEO’s by Harvard Business Review.
The discussions centred around EOG’s short and medium term plans which include the developmental drilling of the Osprey and Oilbird fields. The meeting was attended by other senior members of the ministry including Permanent Secretary Vishnu Dhanpaul, Permanent Secretary (Ag) Selwyn Lashley, Chief Technical Officer Richard Jeremie and Director, Legal Services Indira Ramkissoon.
EOG Resources Trinidad Ltd has been in T&T for over 20 years and is the third largest producer of natural gas in the country and the second largest supplier of natural gas to the NGC.
