Caribbean Airlines passenger dies in Puerto Rico
A passenger on board a Caribbean Airlines Flight en-route from Miami to Port-of-Spain on Thursday afternoon, died on his way to hospital after the flight was diverted to San Juan, Puerto Rico, after he fell ill. A release from CAL yesterday said the 35-year-old passenger, who was not named, was met by an ambulance and accompanying paramedics when flight BW483 touched down at the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. The paramedics rushed him to the hospital, where he later died.
The other 90 passengers on board were accommodated at hotels for the night and the flight resumed its journey yesterday morning, operating as BW3483. It arrived at Piarco International at 11.35 am.
