En­er­gy com­pa­ny Rep­sol T&T has part­nered with the He­roes Foun­da­tion to spread the mes­sage of so­cial in­te­gra­tion of the dis­abled to sec­ondary school stu­dents.He­roes of the Dif­fer­ent­ly-Abled, will be a pi­lot pro­gramme in 11 sec­ondary schools where The He­roes Foun­da­tions has been ac­tive­ly de­vel­op­ing their Youth De­vel­op­ment Pro­gramme's (YDP) since 2006. It is sup­port­ed by the Min­istry of Gen­der, Youth and Child De­vel­op­ment.

The main ob­jec­tive is to pro­mote equal ac­cess to qual­i­ty ed­u­ca­tion for per­sons with dis­abil­i­ties. Rep­sol is sup­port­ing the one-year pi­lot project with a do­na­tion of $120,000 to The He­roes Foun­da­tion. Sup­port for the project is al­so com­ing from NGOs such as the Na­tion­al Cen­tre for Per­sons with Dis­abil­i­ties (NCPD) and Caribbean Kids and Fam­i­lies Ther­a­py Or­gan­i­sa­tion (CK­FTO).
