Republic Bank shares up by $0.43

Overall market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which three advanced, one declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 68,915 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $497,718.35. Sagicor Financial Corporation was the volume leader with 53,972 shares changing hands for a value of $334,836.45, followed by National Flour Mills Ltd with a volume of 10,000 shares being traded for $6,600.  

 

Williams LJ B contributed 3,000 shares with a value of $2,640, while Scotiabank T&T Limited added 1,363 shares valued at $91,321. Republic Bank Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.43 to end the day at $109. Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.05 to end the day at $6.20.

 

Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 41,070 shares valued at $872,737.50. Clico Investment Fund advanced by $0.07 to end at $21.25.
