Angostura trades 40,000 shares

Overall market activity resulted from trading in six securities, of which one advanced, one declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 68,131 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $470,193.65. Angostura Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 40,000 shares changing hands for a value of $312,000, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 20,387 shares being traded for $27,522.45.

 

Sagicor Financial Corporation contributed 3,431 shares with a value of $21,272.20, while National Enterprises Ltd added 3,300 shares valued at $49,632. National Enterprises Ltd enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.02 to end the day at $15.04. Conversely, Trinidad Cement Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.02 to end the day at $1.35.

 

Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 36,382 shares valued at $773,117.50. It remained at $21.25.
