$3.4m cross floor on busy trading day

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 15 securities of which five advanced, four declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 168,439 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $3,420,788.32. GraceKennedy Limited was the volume leader with 78,169 shares changing hands for a value of $246,232.35, followed by Angostura Holdings Ltd with a volume of 25,000 shares being traded for $195,000.
Neal & Massy Holdings Ltd contributed 16,785 shares with a value of $990,305, while Republic Bank Ltd added 12,161 shares valued at $1,324,083.41. National Enterprises Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.06 to end the day at $15.10. Conversely, GraceKennedy Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.30 to close at $3.15. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 102,430 shares valued at $2,176,637.50. It remained at $21.25.
