Mobile provider bmobile has extended its line of branded buses to Tobago. The Imagine Next Keshorn Walcott branded bus went into service in time for the recent Tobago Jazz experience. The network partnered with the Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) to support the executive coach buses which bear bmobile's unique "4G, but not just 4G" catchphrase featuring Keshorn Walcott, the Olympic Gold Medal winner in javelin at the 2012 Olympic games.
Assistant Deputy General Manager of PTSC Tobago Operations Henry Cook said: "The bus will be operating from Scarborough to Bacolet via Frenchfield Road, and will make one trip every hour between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm."Cook said this new addition to the PTSC fleet is the first of its kind, where the branding of the bus was actually done in Tobago.
The wrapping of the bus builds on bmobile's ongoing collaboration with PTSC to support the corporation's modernization thrust. In Tobago, bmobile has installed bzones in strategic places, including Pigeon Point, Store Bay, Lowlands Mall and the Ferry terminal in Tobago, so commuters and pedestrians can benefit from the service.
