San Fernando mayor Dr Navi Muradali is calling for private-sector investment in the southern city's waterfront development project."The city of San Fernando is now open for business," he declared when he addressed the sod-turning ceremony for JT Allum's $500 million C3 Centre, a shopping and entertainment complex due to open in 2015.
Muradali said San Fernando offers many opportunities for investment and one is the waterfront project currently in the first phase which involves beautification of the waterfront and the construction of the boardwalk.He said he is looking for small- and medium-sized businesses to invest and make the project "uniquely San Fernando."
