As part of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank's Employee Appreciation Day efforts, staff were treated to a grand breakfast cooked and prepared especially for them by members of the Country Management Committee (CMC).Staff came together to enjoy the meal where Managing Director Duane Hinkson expressed gratitude to them for their contribution to the company's accomplishments.
"Today, as we celebrate Employee Appreciation Day, the CMC and I personally want to say thanks to each of you for your contribution in making the bank the success that it is today," Hinkson said. "We would not be where we are today without your diligence and commitment and this has also positioned us soundly for the expansion of CIBC FirstCaribbean in Trinidad."For that, we are extremely appreciative."
In addition to breakfast, employees were also treated to lunch catered by renowned restaurant Veni Mang�.CIBC celebrated May 16 worldwide as their Employee Appreciation Day, including offices of CIBC FirstCaribbean in 17 Caribbean countries. Each office planned various activities to show the bank's appreciation to its employees for their contribution over the past year.
All staff received a small token and a signed card from their manager. Additionally, messages from different department heads and the bank's senior executive team were disseminated to all employees.
