Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar is ex­pect­ed to for­mal­ly open the Trade and In­vest­ment Con­ven­tion (TIC) 2013, the re­gion's biggest busi­ness-to-busi­ness event at the Hy­att Re­gency ho­tel on Wednes­day. She will de­liv­er the fea­ture ad­dress to an au­di­ence com­pris­ing ma­jor lo­cal man­u­fac­tur­ers, mem­bers of the busi­ness com­mu­ni­ty and mem­bers of the diplo­mat­ic corps.

More than 30 coun­tries will show­case goods and ser­vices where thou­sands of prod­ucts will be on show.About 3,000 lo­cal and in­ter­na­tion­al busi­ness buy­ers are ex­pect­ed to vis­it TIC 2013, which will run from Wednes­day to Sat­ur­day, where they will find new sup­pli­ers and busi­ness op­por­tu­ni­ties from ex­hibitors.

In­ter­na­tion­al del­e­ga­tions and trade mis­sions will at­tend from the Ar­gen­tine Re­pub­lic, Brazil, Cos­ta Ri­ca, Cu­ra­cao, Do­mini­can Re­pub­lic, Guade­loupe, and Mar­tinique, Cari­com, USA, Unit­ed Kind­gom and In­dia.TIC will be open for busi­ness-to-busi­ness trade on­ly from 10:30 am to 6 pm on Wednes­day and 10 am to 6 pm on Thurs­day and Fri­day.The trade show will be open on Sat­ur­day from 10 am to 4 pm.
