Trinidad Cement Ltd climbs $0.17
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities of which one advanced, two declined and nine traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 111,441 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,872,022.25. National Commercial Bank Jamaica was the volume leader with 29,956 shares changing hands for a value of $34,449.40, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 23,820 shares being traded for $46,029.
Williams LJ B contributed 18,114 shares with a value of $11,774.10, while National Enterprises Ltd added 16,905 shares valued at $270,480. Trinidad Cement Ltd enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.17 to end the day at $1.93. Conversely, One Caribbean Media suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $18.00. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 17,480 shares valued at $375,736.00.
Clico Investment Fund remained at $21.50. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.41. The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (Suspended) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $14.97.
