Overall market activity resulted from trading in six securities of which three advanced, two declined and one traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 100,546 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $197,401. Jamaica Money Market Brokers was the volume leader with 36,100 shares changing hands for a value of $19,885.00, followed by National Flour Mills with a volume of 30,400 shares being traded for $20,880.
National Enterprises Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.24 to end the day at $16.00. Conversely, Jamaica Money Market Brokers suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $0.55. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 56,776 shares valued at $1,209,328.80. Clico Investment Fund remained at $21.30. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.41.
The second tier market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company (SUSPENDED) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $14.97.
