TCL shares increase by $0.38
Overall market activity resulted from trading in nine securities, of which three advanced, zero declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 1,355,451 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $2,064,354.64.
Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 700,000 shares changing hands for a value of $350,000.00, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 472,131 shares being traded for $1,387,609.14. National Flour Mills Ltd contributed 148,444 shares with a value of $111,333.00, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 23,200 shares valued at $158,920.00. Trinidad Cement Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.38 to end the day at $2.94.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 7,500 shares valued at $161,283.00. Clico Investment Fund remained at $21.50. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.41. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Company Ltd (suspended) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $14.97.
