Scotiabank enjoys biggest gain, jumps up to $70.02
Overall market activity resulted from trading in eight securities of which two advanced, zero declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 348,425 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,526,254.65. Trinidad Cement Ltd was the volume leader with 310,000 shares changing hands for a value of $604,500, followed by Sagicior Financial Corporation with a volume of 16,397 shares being traded for $112,319.45.
Agostini’s Ltd contributed 9,246 shares with a value of $159,493.50, while Scotiabank T&T Ltd added 8,350 shares valued at $584,628.50. Scotiabank T&T Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.01 to end the day at $70.02. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 24,000 shares valued at $516,940. It remained at $21.54.
