CLF shares end week at $21.56
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities of which five advanced, one declined and seven traded firm.
Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 554,260 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,829,939.39. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 200,000 shares changing hands for a value of $100,000, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 183,334 shares being traded for $1,265,004.60. Angostura Holdings Ltd contributed 77,088 shares with a value of $770,640, while Trinidad Cement Ltd added 60,000 shares valued at $117,000.
Angostura Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.39 to end the day at $10. Conversely, Scotiabank T&T Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $70.02. On the Mutual Fund Market 23,565 shares changed hands for a value of $435,461.40. Clico Investment Fund was the most active security, with a volume of 19,565 shares valued at $421,821.40. It advanced by $0.01 to end at $21.56.
