First Citizens shares debut at $25.30
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 14 securities of which six advanced, zero declined and eight traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 503,861 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,240,231.64. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited was the volume leader with 410,000 shares changing hands for a value of $205,000, followed by Trinidad Cement Limited with a vaolume of 69,000 shares being traded for $134,550.
National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited contributed 10,000 shares with a value of $11,500, while Republic Bank Limited added 5,000 shares valued at $550,100. First Citizens Bank Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $25.30 to end the day at $25.30. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 125,081 shares valued at $2,696,856.37. It remained at $21.56.
