First Citizens increases by $3.79
Overall market activity resulted from trading in ten securities of which three advanced, two declined and five traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 701,113 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,250,015.84. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited was the volume leader with 618,901 shares changing hands for a value of $310,610.50, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited with a volume of 40,644 shares being traded for $46,740.60.
Neal and Massy Holdings Limited contributed 24,578 shares with a value of $1,376,495.62, while Trinidad Cement Limited added 10,000 shares valued at $20,000. First Citizens Bank Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $3.79 to end the day at $29.09. Conversely, FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $1 to close at $6.75.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 31,084 shares valued at $670,094.48. It remained at $21.56. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.00. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.41.
The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity. FNCU Venture Capital Co Ltd (Suspended) remained at $1.00. Mora Ven Holdings Ltd remained at $14.97.
