Coosal’s celebrates opening of corporate office
Executive director Sieunarine Coosal and members of the board of the Coosal’s Group of Companies celebrated the formal opening of their new corporate office at Coosal Boulevard, Madras Road, Cunupia, on September 18.
The spanking new facility, while aesthetically appealing, serves a functioning role, according to Tricia Coosal, director of the Coosal’s Group of Companies. Tricia Coosal told guests that it was always an aspiration of her father to have their corporate office located a stone’s throw away from the Madras Complex, the company’s largest work centre within the group. She said it allows for efficiency of communication and hands-on interaction between the corporate office and employees at the Madras Complex.
Among guests who witnessed the cutting of the ribbon to formally open the new corporate office were Jaspal Bhogal, the building’s architect and design consultant; Prof Clement Sankat, principal, St Augustine campus, UWI; Lucita Cecilia Moeniralam, ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands; Amer Haidar, dean of the Consular Corps; and Imtiaz Ahamad, chief executive officer, Southern Sales Ltd.
