Neal and Massy shares at $56.11
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 14 securities of which five advanced, three declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 1,211,501 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $15,965,143.74. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 300,000 shares changing hands for a value of $150,000, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 279,935 shares being traded for $619,705.45.
First Citizens Bank Ltd contributed 277,643 shares with a value of $9,717,696.21, while National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd added 261,000 shares valued at $305,370. Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.07 to end the day at $56.11. Conversely, Ansa Merchant Bank Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $1.20 to close at $37.80.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 126,957 shares valued at $2,735,870.81. It advanced by $0.01 to end at $21.55.
