CLF shares drop by $0.22
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 14 securities of which four advanced, five declined and five traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 823,084 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $12,781,105.40. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 362,000 shares changing hands for a value of $181,000, followed by First Citizens Bank Ltd with a volume of 183,959 shares being traded for $6,464,810.59.
First Caribbean International Bank Ltd contributed 114,413 shares with a value of $772,187.75, while Ansa McAL Ltd added 74,423 shares valued at $4,934,206.24. National Flour Mills Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.07 to end the day at $0.86. Conversely, First Citizens Bank Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.74 to close at $35.14.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 2,411 shares valued at $52,025.47. It declined by $0.22 to end at $21.58.
