Guardian Holdings shares drop to $15
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities of which four advanced, four declined and five traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 292,157 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,294,163.37. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 196,280 shares changing hands for a value of $108,294.08, followed by Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Ltd with a volume of 31,000 shares being traded for $117,800.
Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd contributed 24,903 shares with a value of $1,407,329.29, while National Flour Mills Ltd added 18,500 shares valued at $16,835. Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.05 to end the day at $3.80. Conversely, Guardian Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.50 to close at $15.
